Design and manufacturing of custom brake caliper spacers to support the installation of a larger Porsche Cayman brake kit on a Porsche 911. Detailed Content: We designed and fitted custom aft and forward brake caliper spacers to support the installation of a larger Porsche Cayman brake kit on a Porsche 911. The spacers were developed to achieve correct caliper positioning, rotor clearance, and mounting alignment for the upgraded braking system. The work involved reviewing the brake caliper mounting points, rotor position, hub geometry, and available clearance around the wheel and suspension assembly. Based on these measurements, the spacer dimensions were designed to position the caliper correctly over the larger brake rotor while maintaining secure mounting and proper component alignment. The final spacer set enabled the upgraded brake kit to be fitted correctly, supporting improved brake system integration while maintaining accurate fitment between the caliper, rotor, and mounting structure.
